Keep kids safe over Christmas

December 11th, 2012

If you’re going to be away from home over Christmas – and of course many families will be, even if it’s just for the day – it may be a good idea to take ID wristbands.

These reusable bands from Infoband are easy to use. Write with a regular ball point-pen and the text gets water resistant. The smart buckle is practically impossible for small children to open as it needs a two-hand grip.

Perfect for contact or medical information, giving the parents peace of mind.

Identity wristbands for half term peace of mind

October 16th, 2012

Half term is coming up, so we thought it would be a good time to write about these Kids Identity Wristbands again.

These single use identity wristbands are the perfect solution and safeguard should a child wander off and become detached from the family group or school group.

Simply write your mobile number, medical condition or allergy on the inside of the wristband using a ballpoint pen or a permanent marker pen, before putting on the childs wrist.

When you have returned from your day out simply cut the wristband from the childs arm and discard.

Identity wristbands (in case you leave a child in the pub)

June 12th, 2012

You probably saw in the news yesterday that the Prime Minister David Cameron and his wife, Samantha, accidentally left their 8-year-old daughter Nancy behind in a country pub. Apparently both parents thought Nancy was with the other and it was only when they got home they realised it wasn’t the case.

It’s so easily done, particularly during family holidays when you’re in an unfamiliar place and children are likely to wander off to look at new things. Of course, the Camerons are well-known enough that the publicans knew Nancy, but if you don’t happen to be running the country, a Children’s Identity Wristband is a more practical way to ensure (relative) peace of mind.

Simply write your child’s information – contact and/or medical – in the designated space with a regular ball point-pen and the text becomes water resistant. The smart buckle makes infoband reusable, and also practically impossible for small children to open as it needs a two-hand grip to be opened.

Perhaps the Camerons should invest in a few just in case…

Be safe in the Summer with Infobands Identity Wristbands

Be Safe this Summer with our Infoband Special Offer!

I am sure we all remember how dreadful it was when Madeleine Mccann went missing – and the search is still ongoing.  We want to remind everyone about the plight of this lovely little girl and urge everybody to keep looking for her.

With this in mind we have decided that with the Summer Holidays fast approaching to highlight what we consider an essential holiday must have.

Infobands are reusable wristbands that can be taken of and put on by an adult so that any lost child can have their contact details around their wrist.  We have used them for our girls over the years and it just give you that little bit of reassurance.

They wouldn’t have stopped Madeleine from being taken or indeed stop any horrendous crime like this from happening, but they will give you peace of mind if your child gets lost…..and we all know how easy it is to take your eye off them for 2 seconds and they move from where they were…..especially on a busy beach.

To encourange the use of these wristbands which come in loads of different designs we are offering 10% off when you buy 4 of these – and you don’t even have to put a code in at checkout! The discount is automatic! Just click here to see them!

So please be safe this summer and make a small investment in something that could return a lost child to you.

Unique baby names

Infoband Single Use Wristband

I never get bored of hearing about, shall we say, unusual baby names. A study by has found around 1000 unique baby names.

The worst is, arguably, Mistaker, but Egremont, Rollon, Koko and Narcisso for boys and Arcissadella, Marymolly and Nanis for girls aren’t much better.

It put me in mind of the Infoband Wristband since if you did lose a child named Mistaker in a crowd, you’d probably not be quite so keen on shouting his name. (And don’t forget there are only a couple of weeks to go until we find out the new Beckham baby name!)

Don’t get lost in a crowd

April 28th, 2011

Infoband Identity Wristbands are such a great idea. Now that my youngest is desperate to get out of his pram and test his legs, I’ll definitely be buying some.

Pictured is the single use version, but you can also get various reusable ones. You can use them for contact information or even medical details – really handy when you’re out and about during the holidays.

Top 3 Holiday Essentials

August 5th, 2010

We’re off on our holidays soon and I for one can’t wait. We’re not going abroad and have a long car journey to contend with, but then a week of beaches, fish and chips and wine (one of those things is not for the children). I’ve packed the following:

I absolutely adore this hooded towelling beach top by Mitty James. If they were available in my size, I’d be buying one for myself. Perfect as a beach cover up and, bearing in mind the erratic British weather, just as something to keep to hand. Available in sizes from 18 months to 12 years, in a variety of colours, and with co-ordinating swimwear. Brilliant.

Infobands are among the site’s best-sellers and it’s no surprise. They’re just so useful and, crucially, also easy to use. Write with a regular ball point-pen and the text is water resistant. The smart buckle makes the band reusable, and also practically impossible for small children to open as it needs a two-hand grip to be opened.

Long car journeys with small children are rarely fun, but you can make them slightly easier by keeping the kids entertained. This Doowell Magnetic Alphabet Animals set features 26 colourful magnetic animal pieces each with letter of the alphabet corresponding to the animal’s name.

Keep track of your kids

Infoband Childrens Reuseable Identity Wristband

My oldest son went on a school trip for the first time last week. I was a nervous wreck. I asked if they needed ‘helpers’ (I didn’t want to help, I was just being overprotective), but they were fully staffed. And so I had to just let him go. In a coach. By himself (with just, er, 30 other people…).

Everything was fine, of course, but I would have felt a lot happier if I’d had the foresight to buy one of these Infoband Identity Wristbands. Much more sensible than my other cunning plan: getting him microchipped like a pet…

Don’t lose your children this summer…..

Kids Identity wristbands

Keep safe with these childrens identity wristbands

We all worry about our kids getting lost or wandering off in busy shopping centres or on holiday.

I have just seen a news article where police are appealing to identify 2 small children that were found wandering round in Christchurch, New Zealand.  One was aged about 2 years of age and one about 4 years and had no form of identity on them.

Perhaps we should all learn from this and use the reusable kids identity wristbands like this.  On a recent holiday I would not let my children out without them even though we went out as a family group at all times… just never know.

The unthinkable could always happen.  All you need is a phone number on the identity wristband and you can be contacted.

Be safe!
