Hello, it’s Amy here!
I have recently been browsing through the new products introduced on Kiddymania, when I fortunately came across a beautiful, fetching fancy dress costume – which could also double as a bridesmaids outfit.
I wish I could get away with wearing such elegant clothing!
We stock a large range of bridesmaid dresses and accessories, why not take a look?

I’ve always loved the idea of a winter wedding. Since we can never guarantee the weather in this country, it seems a shame to pin one’s wedding dreams on sunshine and blue skies. No one wants drizzle, I know, but a bit of snow seems rather glamorous, no?
This sumptuous bridesmaid’s dress is made from warm ivory fleece, with a shimmery bodice, statement jewelled organza frill, hem and long sleeves edged in fur and pretty golden glitter net peeping out from underneath.
As if that wasn’t enough glamour, the dress comes with a hooded fleece cape edged in fur, supplied on a satin padded hanger with an organza garment cover. Wintry and wonderful.

This is an absolutely beautiful dress for any budding ballroom dancers (or Strictly Come Dancing) fans out there.
Featuring lovely rosette heart detailing on the bodice and delicate organza flowers on the skirt, it could easily also be used as a bridesmaids dress. (And it comes with a matching heart-shaped rose bag.)
Available in sizes 3-4 years, 5-6 years, 7-8 years and 9-10 years, it’s much better than a “Sev-en!”

Have you seen Bridesmaids yet? I’m really looking forward to it, even though I’ve heard mixed reviews (most people seem to have found it really funny, but it also sounds just as gross as any male gross-out comedy). Anyway, it put me in mind of bridesmaids and some of our most gorgeous wedding-related items.
This Perfume River dress is one of my favourites. It’s a gorgeous, fresh looking ivory taffeta flower girl dress with embroidered flower designs and subtle green leaves on the bodice, both front and back of the dress.
These beautiful fair trade dolls are all expertly handmade to the principles of Fair Trade in Sri Lanka. They’d make a perfect bridesmaids gift or a great alternative for a bridesmaid to carry down the aisle.
These lovely hair clips from Angel’s Face are designed to compliment the fantastic range of Angel’s Face petti skirts, but are equally suited to bridesmaids who really need their hair tamed on the big day!

Obviously the big news this week is the royal wedding. That’s Prince William and Kate Middleton, in case you’ve missed it (not possible, surely).
I was completely obsessed with the last big royal wedding (Prince Charles and Lady Di) which took place when I was 10 – while I’m not quite so interested in this one, I know plenty of little girls who will be.
But who wouldn’t love this Enchanted Dreams Princess Bridesmaid dress? It’s got tiered net layers, a soft, iridescent bustle and a fur bolero. Supplied on a satin padded hanger with an organza garment cover, it even omes with a Limited Edition Certificate!
But for girls who aren’t expecting a call-up from the happy couple (any happy couple!), I love this beautiful fair trade doll.
Expertly handmade to the highest quality, she wears a gorgeous and elaborate white satin dress, has white ribbons on her shoes and pretty white ribbons in her hair.
So how interested in the forthcoming nuptials are you? Will you be watching? Have you started a scrapbook? Tell us in the comments.

It’s the wedding season – although why people persist with summer weddings when it rains all summer long, I don’t know – and these beautiful Bridal Fair Trade Handmade Rag Dolls make a perfect gift for the younger bridesmaids in the party.
With elaborate white dresses made from satin with an attractive overlay, and ribbons on their shoes and in their hair, the dolls would also make a perfect alternative for a bridesmaid to carry down the aisle.

Perfume River Vintage Ivory Bridesmaid Dress
Charlotte Church and Gavin Henson have announced they are getting married and, according to OK! magazine, the singer and TV presenter wants their children involved.
Church wants her 2-year-old daughter Ruby to be her bridesmaid and her 1-year-old son Dexter to be page boy, both arriving at the church with her in a horse and carriage.
Did you have your children at your wedding? If so, we’d love to hear about it.

New research has found that children as young as five months engage in “significantly more rhythmic movement to music and other rhythmically regular sounds than to speech.” What does it mean? It means that babies may be predisposed to dance!
And with the news that actress Natalie Cassidy – star of last year’s Strictly Come Dancing – is expecting her first child, we had to share this beautiful Girls Petal Ballgown. A limited edition, it could easily be used as a bridesmaid dress or special occassion dress as well as a girls fancy dress costume.
