Inch Blue Baby Boat Shoes
Hi it’s Amy again!
Have you booked a holiday recently? My mum has, and we’re off to Somerset in a caravan by the sea. I hope we get to go down to the beach!
I’m really hoping I don’t have to share a room with my little sister, I love her to bit.. but there are limits!
The other day, my little sister and me found some beautiful baby shoes that really remind us of the seaside, which got us into the holiday mood! We completely fell in love with these Inch Blue Baby Boat shoes.

Well in our house, the week or so post-Christmas (it’s often a lot longer than a week, if I’m honest) is about snuggling down, relaxing and recovering.
Soft blankets, big bowls of soup, black and white films, books, games and long walks in frosty parks – that’s what post-Christmas means to us.
How about you?

Mocc Ons are moccasin style slipper socks that ensure babies and toddlers have warm and comfortable feet throughout the winter season.
The sneaker style is available in different colours and we also have Zebra and Spots.
Gorgeous, snuggly and stylish.

If you have a baby and you’re going to be away from home over the Christmas period, a comforter may well be the best investment you ever make.
The natural alternative for parents who do not want their baby to use dummies or other sleeping aids, this super-soft baby comforter is designed to soothe, calm and reassure you and your baby.
Plus it’s machine-washable – what more could you want? (Perhaps a second, in case the first one gets lost.)

How are you getting on with your Christmas shopping? I think I’m almost done, which is less about my organisational skills and more about my online ordering skills (I think every other house in our street has taken delivery of a parcel for me recently).
But that’s the main presents – we always do stockings for the children and so try to pick up bits and bobs when we see them.
Yoyos are great – smaller kids love them, even if they can’t really work them, and older kids can learn all manner of tips and tricks.
If you have a doll-mad child, there’s not much better than a magic bottle – I still remember getting one for Christmas and being absolutely bowled over that I could feed my dolls “properly.”
Not really for filling a stocking, more a stocking in itself, the Puppet Company Sockette is just fabulous.
Like yoyos, jigsaws are always a popular choice, and we have a great selection (the 1-10 Fish is my favourite).

I don’t know whether traditional tales and fairy stories are currently enjoying a renaissance or if I’ve just become aware of them because my sons are interested (post-Tangled), but they seem to be everywhere, from the cinema, to the theatre, to ‘reimagined’ versions in books and apps.
Jack and the Beanstalk is a perennial favourite – who doesn’t dream of magic beans? – and this set, including a hardback book and five finger puppets – is a wonderful way to bring your child’s imagination to life.

Sorry for the exclamation mark, but I couldn’t type that without immediately singing “Spice up your life!” after.
I collected dolls of the world as a child, but mine were more ‘ornamental’. In fact, I was told to keep them in their little plastic presentation tubes because I was assured they’d be worth a lot of money in the future. The future is now. And they’re not.
So my point is that dolls of the world are wonderful things for children to collect, but they should also be allowed to play with them and these lovely, soft-bodied, dolls are perfect for play.

If you’re going out trick or treating this year – are you? – you may be interested in this adorable Baby Stella dress up kitty outfit.
Would make any Baby Stella doll look cute as a button and entirely event appropriate. You could even combine it with this baby fancy dress outfit to make a purrfect pair (sorry about that).

The nights are definitely drawing in (I’m sorry) so it’s the perfect time to invest in one of these gorgeous Buggysnuggles (how cute is the name too?).
These simple footmuffs combine four layers of top quality polar fleece to keep your baby warm and cosy.
If the stripy one is too bright for you (although you may appreciate it during the dark days of winter…), we also have a plain black version.

I’m sorry to be the first one to bring this up – I am the first one, aren’t I? Don’t tell me there are crackers and selection boxes in the supermarkets already – but, you know, it’s happening. Summer holidays are over and what’s next? Yep.
This year I vow to be organised. Do I say that every year? I could look back and check, but I don’t dare. But this year… this year… I’m going to buy cards, wrapping paper, cellotape. Presents! Actual presents that people might want. And decorations. And food. This is the year I’m finally going to act like a grown-up. Probably. How about you?
