I bought a Quadrilla marble run set for my sons for Christmas so I thought I’d let you have my thoughts.
Before buying it, I wasn’t sure it would be robust enough to stand up to my two boys – particularly the hamfisted almost-3-year-old, but it’s actually fine. The wooden pieces fit together well and while it’s not exactly sturdy – it’s easily knocked down – I certainly wouldn’t call it flimsy.
The directions for building the marble runs are easy to follow and it didn’t take my 7-year-old long at all to start experimenting with his own creations and understanding why they didn’t always work.
It was absolutely the most successful of all the Christmas presents and I know it’s something we will all play with for years to come. Highly recommended!
(It wasn’t the Twist and Rail set pictured that I bought, it was the starter kit, but I know we’ll be buying more and more and so I wish I’d bought the full monty to begin with.)
